This groundbreaking study introduced PhenoAge, a novel measure of biological age derived from clinical biomarkers. The researchers analyzed data from over 10,000 individuals to identify nine blood-based biomarkers plus chronological age that together strongly predict mortality risk and physiological dysregulation.
